Project overview
About this project
Installing large decorative lights takes careful preparation. Each fitting needs to be positioned to suit the room, securely supported, and connected safely to the lighting supply. Our electrician assessed the ceiling positions and existing connections before installing the fittings, taking care to place the ornate chandelier as the main focal point and position the crystal pendant to complement it. Once the fittings were in place, their height and alignment helped create a balanced look across the space. The wall lights add another layer of illumination around the patterned tile feature wall, while the chandeliers draw attention to the dining area and work alongside the pink blossom display and dark ceiling. The finished lighting gives the restaurant a welcoming glow and helps bring its interior details together. It demonstrates how carefully positioned decorative lighting can make a commercial space feel more inviting while adding a memorable feature for customers. Client requirements
The client wanted decorative lighting that would create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for diners and complement the restaurant’s distinctive interior. The brief included a statement chandelier as a focal point, supported by additional pendant and wall lighting to bring warmth and character to the dining area.
Challenges faced
The main challenge was fitting statement lighting into a visually detailed restaurant interior while keeping the overall look balanced. The chandelier needed to stand out without competing with the patterned feature wall, blossom display or other decorative lights. Careful positioning of the chandelier, pendant and wall lights helped bring the different features together and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
